Biggest Crocodile Found in the Philippines, bigger than what the record in Guinness Book of Records as of 2011.
Right after catching the largest crocodile caught alive on the earth, searcher already are speaking of chasing after a much bigger croc, possibly hiding within the streams of Agusan del Sur.
The monster, 6.4-meter (21-foot) saltwater crocodile captured on Saturday in Bunawan town after a 24-day search was already called “Lolong” by the villagers, and experts say Lolong might not be alone.
The earlier biggest crocodile in captivity is an 18-footer in Australia, based on Guinness World Records.
Crocodiles are alleged from the fatalities of a local fisherman a few months ago along with a female not too long ago, according to the news reports, but authorities could not say whether the monster caught Saturday was responsible.
Mayor Elorde told Inquirer news from the Philippines that there will probably be a lot of more huge crocodiles within the marsh, but he denied earlier reports that locals would attempt to capture one more.
